Picking you up from your meeting point we will drive you through the national highway to Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes (connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus) of Livadia and Arachova we arrive in Delphi, the second-most important archeological site in Greece (after the Acropolis in Athens).

Delphi was considered by the ancient Greeks , the place where heaven and earth met so the gods were close-by. Established around the 7th century BC, Delphi was a sanctuary to the god Apollo. It was here that the Oracle of Delphi was situated, the most trusted oracle in the ancient world from which the spirit of Apollo gave advice on everything from domestic matters to wars.

You can visit the Museum of Delphi which contains masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture like the bronze Charioteer and the famous preserved athletic statues. It is known that Olympia originally housed far more of these statues, but time brought ruin to many of them, leaving Delphi as the main site of athletic statues. You will feel the mystery of the Temple of Apollo where Pythia was located and gave predictions of the future. See Castalia with both monumental fountains receiving water from the source during the last 3000 years. After lunch in the new town of Delphi , will visit the traditional Arachova known for its famous handmade carpets and quilts of . It will then continue through the towns of Thebes and Levadia to get back to Athens.
